What is Oi Ocha?
Japanese tea has 1,200 years of history. It is also a history of development of a variety of types of tea, including for tea ceremony, using matcha powdered tea and sencha prepared with a kyusu (Japanese teapot). ITO EN developed the world’s first canned green tea and PET-bottled green tea as ready-to-drink products. Oi Ocha is the No. 1 brand of green tea drink that has been beloved in Japan for more than 30 years. The brand name, Oi Ocha, are typical words said when someone wants to enjoy tea with a person who is close to them, such as their family. We only use tea leaves produced in Japan and attach great importance to the aroma and taste that are similar to those of freshly brewed tea from a kyusu. Oi Ocha has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's top selling brand of green tea drink.*Largest NH RTD green tea brand - retail RSP, current (Estimated sales of $1,882,900,000 in 2019)

and Examination System
All tea leaves and tea bags are manufactured in our own factories where drinks products satisfy quality control standards. Both ingredients and products undergo flavor and machinery analysis, and tests for microbes and remains of pesticides at both our factory and company. We share information with our manufactoring factories and through the regular carrying out of quality control meetings with a representative from the factory, we aim for the production safe and reliable tea products.
